Miguel Vega is an award-winning filmmaker based in San Diego, CA. As a screenwriter, Miguel loves to create fantastical worlds where chaos mutates reality, and the absurd becomes a mirror for our messiest selves. His work explores the complexities of the Mexican-American experience through a lens that bridges cultural nuance with universal themes. His short screenplay "Doomsday for Dodos" was named a Top 10 Unproduced Short Screenplay at FilmQuest 2025. He holds an MFA in Film and TV Production from San Diego State University.
